Sitting Koala, Boxing Kangaroo
My trip to the Great Ocean Road and the Grampians was excellent. I learned so much – like regardless of how long I practice yoga, I will probably never be as good at “child’s pose in a tree” as a koala.

Oh, and koalas really are that cute.
Peek-a-boo! Seriously, Koala are zen masters.
And by the way, kangaroos really do box.*
*Yes, I really am that bad at videography. In my defense, I was taking in on my phone and you aren’t supposed to go near wild animals. Which I totally didn’t.

Why are kangaroos so tiny?? I like the dramatic zoom-in of the fight. I am also somewhere extremely exotic now – out in Tuscaloosa, AL, to race on Saturday!! I don’t anticipate any animal footage.
The boxing kangaroos are joeys. Baby kangaroos! These are also not the huge red kangaroos. The reds are larger than the grays and you really can’t get close to them.
